Moving files to the top level in the Site Window

Another GoLive Talk List favorite. There are several ways of doing this, and I will explain two of them below.

The first method is to drag the file from the internal folder to a spot over or beside one of the files on the top level, as shown below. If other files in your site have links to the one you just moved, a dialog box will appear asking you if you want to update those files, and letting you choose which ones you want to update.

The second method is simply to drag the file icon onto the Name Bar at the top:

As with the first method, if there are other pages linked to this one you will be given the option to update them or leave them alone.
