Using plug-ins with GoLive
Using a Plugin in your page is easy to do in Cyberstudio/GoLive. Just point and shoot your audio, video or other file. You must, of course, have a file somewhere within your site folder. You should also place the plug-in you want to use in the Plug-ins Folder [within the GoLive folder].

Open your Palette window and click on the Basic Tab. Drag and drop the Plug-in icon to the location on the page you would like your Plugin to appear. [In this demo, I am using an audio file, but you can use any type of plugin with this method. I put audio plugins that I do not want the viewer to control on the page, yet just off the first view of the page.]
Drag this:

to here:

Next, the Image Inspector will change to a Plug-in Inspector. Grab onto the lasso with your mouse and point and shoot to the plugin file in your Site Folder [you can also type in the file name, but point and shoot is much easier and actually more accurate]. Once you have done that, then you must check the box for a Mime Player. This will select the viewer's Plugin source to play your file. [in this case, I have selected the audio/aiff Quicktime]. Next, if you would like to offer the viewer some control over your file, click on the Special Tab and then select the Console format you would like to have present on your page.

At this point you can also control other attributes of your plugin such as start time, whether you would like the plug in to loop, etc.. [i.e.: To adjust the width, select the width, pixel/percent/auto drag down. Select the defining factor and enter the size.]
